Summary

 This position will lead the overall design and development of enterprise data management of the Bank’s business information. City Bank is a dynamic growing bank serving our communities through financial products and services.  The successful candidate will help coordinate the use of data at the enterprise level and ensures information is accessible, orderly, and governed in order to make sound business decisions. Primarily responsible for any data analytics applications used by the Bank. Collaborates with all lines of business to bring together silos of information for better enterprise level reporting.  

Essential Duties

1. Serves as leader in Business Intelligence for the Bank.
2. Operates as primary architect and management of any Data Warehousing/Data Analytics Applications.
3. Responsible for monitoring and maintaining production environment.
4. Able to serve all lines of business in data needs in a timely and responsive manner.
5. Develop and operate a data governance program to clarify ownership of specific data elements across the Bank.
6. Manages the progress of projects and drive them to completion, set internal customer and managerial expectations, and accurately communicate status
7. Identify, acquire and evaluate new data sources and tools to improve performance
8. Provide business and IT alignment around information as a strategic asset.
9. Partner with the Executive Management team to facilitate strategic goals and objectives including revenue generation through data management.
10. Actively interfaces with Information Security Officer in the security of all bank data.
11. Compliance with all regulatory laws and reporting obligations.
12. Collaborates on new projects and services with Project Management Office in order to evaluate new and potential data sources.
13. Direct involvement with all business lines across the Bank in order to understand data sources and uses.
14. Maintains a positive and teamwork oriented attitude.
15. Keeps management properly informed of concerns, issues, needs, and accomplishments.

Candidate background

1. BS degree required, MBA or MS or relevant work experience preferred
2. 5 years or more demonstrated experience leading data analytics teams or related teams
3. Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate complex information in an easy to understand format
4. Excellent interpersonal, analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.
