  • Responsibilities

    Produce and publish daily digital content in content management system, applying evolving best practices to create engaging high-impact Spanish language content.

    Edit Spanish language content for a U.S.-based Spanish speaking audience, often from translators who translate English content and occasionally from writers and other content makers doing original work in Spanish.

    Manage and publish an average of 5 to 15 pieces of digital content (articles, slide shows, polls, quizzes, featured videos on pages, video streaming, tools, forms, and galleries) per week, including subscription-only content.

    Craft concise, well-written metadata and alt text in Spanish.

    Apply basic knowledge of HTML to troubleshoot digital content styling errors.

    Provide system expertise in existing systems of Adobe’s AEM and Censhare CMS which utilizes customized templates.

    Program Spanish language landing pages to be aligned with the brand, using value metrics, strategic direction, audience segments and web analytics.

    Provide quality assurance before content is published by reviewing all the elements on a page, including text, images, display copy and metadata.

    Upload and optimize videos, audio and podcasts for omnichannel viewing and listening.

    Provide best practice search engine optimization (“SEO”) and engagement optimized web page production using Conductor, Google Search Console and Looker Studio to increase the value of each visitor to the aarp.org website and to prompt engagement.

    Work with team's data analyst to provide channel-level metrics reporting using Adobe Analytics to provide insights and context for channel Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the monthly, yearly, and year over year reporting that includes but is not limited to: Unique visits, page views, bounce rate, return visits.
