Responsibilities:

- Strategically partner with portfolio company executives to drive data-led initiatives for growth and efficiency, from concept to completion.
- Develop and implement data-centric strategies and tools to enhance investment processes and support deal teams.
- Provide critical support in live due diligence, translating complex data into comprehensive analysis under tight deadlines.
- Create insightful tools and data products to refine the investment process.
- Oversee value creation projects in portfolio companies, from strategy to execution.
- Engage in sophisticated data analysis, including feature engineering and analytics.
- Cleanse, integrate, and interrogate diverse datasets to uncover unique insights.
- Conduct rigorous hypothesis testing, statistical analysis, and modeling.

Qualifications:
Education & Certificates:
- College degree and above in a STEM field.
Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 3-6 years of direct Data Science experience required.
- Experience in commercial consulting, investment banking, or client-oriented roles is advantageous.

- Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to translate data into actionable business strategies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in public presentation and storytelling.
- Solid understanding of investment, financial valuation, and commercial growth principles.

Benefits/Compensation:
- The anticipated base salary range for this role is $140,000 to $160,000, specific to Washington, D.C.
