Job Title: Spare Parts Management Specialist
Department: Service
Reports to Service Manager
Position Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Spare Parts Management Specialist to oversee the efficient operation of our spare parts warehouse. This role is critical in ensuring accurate inventory management, timely parts replenishment, and seamless customer service support.
Job Responsibilities:
Warehouse Management: Manage daily operations of the spare parts warehouse, including receiving, issuing, packaging, shipping, and conducting cycle counting. Maintain organized storage and promptly respond to service or customer requirements.
Inventory Control: Perform inventory transactions using the ERP system. Maintain accurate parts movement records through offline files if necessary, ensuring alignment between system balances and actual inventory levels.
Parts Planning: Develop and execute rational parts replenishment plans based on inventory levels and service/sales forecasts. Ensure timely and sufficient supply of parts while optimizing inventory levels.
Customer Service: Prepare parts quotations for customers. Create spare parts sales orders or service parts orders in the system and monitor parts delivery status to ensure prompt delivery.
Inventory Analysis: Regularly analyze spare parts inventory data, consumption rates, and inventory turnover. Provide insights and recommendations for inventory optimization and enhancing customer experience.
Job Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
-Experience in spare parts management and warehouse management for industrial equipment. Familiarity with laser equipment parts is highly preferred.
-Proficient in office software for data processing and analysis. Familiarity with ERP or WMS inventory management systems is required; practical experience is a plus.
-Excellent communication and coordination skills. Capable of effectively collaborating with headquarters, subsidiaries, sales teams, and service teams.
-Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and comfortable working in various warehouse conditions.Willingness to occasionally work overtime or weekends as needed.Valid driver’s license and ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts) may be required.
