    Job Summary The Spare Parts Specialist supports the Parts Manager by managing key aspects of warehousing and client service. This role focuses on maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, preparing price quotations, and processing customer orders both at the counter and online. The specialist is responsible for shipping, receiving, packing, and stocking products, as well as assisting with inventory management and order fulfillment. Additionally, they coordinate domestic and international shipments and work with vendors to track purchases for timely deliveries. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and collaboration with the Parts Manager are essential for success in this position.

    General Accountabilities Sales and Purchasing  Prepare timely responses to price quotation requests from customers and management.  Process customer orders via online platforms, email, phone, and walk-in interactions.  Monitor customer orders using the company's proprietary software and input sales orders into the financial system.  Maintain accurate sales records and manage day-to-day client communications and relationships.  Develop and sustain effective relationships with clients to drive profitable and sustainable sales growth of assigned accounts.  Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts.  Coordinate the purchase and delivery of goods, ensuring efficient procurement practices.  Maintain communication with vendors through written and verbal interactions to follow up on orders.  Input purchase orders into the financial system and track orders while maintaining accurate purchase records.  Collaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve issues and facilitate invoice processing.  Evaluate inventory levels and advise management on necessary products to purchase. Shipping, Receiving, and Warehousing  Receive incoming materials and ship outgoing products, verifying counts against packing lists and preparing shipping reports.  Document discrepancies or damages and ensure efficient processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.  Prepare domestic and international shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations.  Perform picking and packing of products, confirming all required items are included.  Handle materials to maintain proper flow and document all incoming and outgoing supplies.  Operate a forklift safely to load, unload, move, or stack materials.  Conduct annual inventory counts and monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is maintained.  Notify purchasing agents for reorders and implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels.  Implement and adhere to warehouse safety protocols and inspect the physical condition of warehouse equipment, requesting maintenance and repairs as needed.

    Requirements  Education: Associates degree or technical school; or  Experience: 2 years of related experience.  Forklift operator certificate.

    Skills  Proficient in MS Office.  Excellent written and verbal communication.  Service orientation.  Organization and follow up skills.  Time management.  Self-motivated.

    Work Environment  Office setting and unconditioned warehouse.  Required to stand, walk, bend, lift, carry and reach with hands and arms.  Occasionally climb, balance and kneel.  Occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds.  Occasionally required to move more than 100 pounds.  Required to push, pull, twist, turn, talk, hear, reach above the shoulder and/or outward, and drive power equipment.

    Position Type  Full Time.  Exempt.  Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL.  Monday to Friday 8am-5pm (60-minute break for lunch).

    Compensation and Benefits  Base Salary $45,000-$55,000  Paid time off: 6 sick days, 10 vacation days, 2 personal days and 7 holidays.  Health insurance: 100% company-paid employee-only and 50% of dependents’  Short term and long-term disability insurance: 100% company-paid employee-only.  Vision insurance: employee-paid vision insurance, employee-only.  Dental insurance: employee-paid dental plan, employee-only.  Retirement plan: Eligible after 2 years of employment. 100% match and up to 3% of total compensation.
