Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or HSE required.
- Licensure: CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience: 2+ years in hospital settings, with exposure to psychiatric care.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in behavior modification, de-escalation techniques, and treatment plan implementation.
- Soft Skills: Leadership, conflict resolution, attention to detail, and crisis management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff adherence to safety protocols, de-escalation techniques, and behavior management.
- Escort residents to appointments, activities, and therapy sessions.
- Conduct safety checks, contraband searches, and monitor resident conditions/behaviors.
- Assist in developing patient programming and implementing treatment plans (e.g., supervised medication administration).
- Recruit, train, and evaluate staff performance; provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate on facility process improvements and quality assurance initiatives.
- Remain on high alert during extended shifts (up to 16 hours) and respond to emergencies.
