What You’ll Do:

• Assess student needs and adapt curricula for mild to moderate disabilities.
• Design and deliver engaging lesson plans and IEPs.
• Use innovative strategies to teach skills and manage classrooms.
• Collaborate with parents, staff, and educators on student progress.
• Support students’ milestones and transitions.

Who You Are:

• Experienced: Proven special education background (or newly credentialed with out-of-state reciprocity in progress).
• Knowledgeable: Familiar with current special ed methods and IEPs.
• Certified: Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teaching Credential; BS required, MS preferred.
• Skilled: Patient, resilient, and a strong communicator.
• Local: In or moving to the Greater Boston area.
