    Job Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Specialist Accounting to join our team in Opelousas, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

    • Perform month-end close processes and prepare financial statements
    • Manage general ledger accounts and conduct regular reconciliations
    • Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports for management
    • Process and review accounting transactions for accuracy and compliance
    • Maintain organized documentation for audit purposes
    • Assist in developing and implementing accounting procedures
    • Monitor and report on budget variances
    • Support tax preparation and regulatory compliance activities
    • Collaborate with team members on special projects and process improvements
    • Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • 3-5 years of accounting experience
    • CPA preferred
    • Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
    • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools
    • Demonstrated experience with month-end close processes
    • Knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles
    • Strong understanding of internal controls and accounting procedures
    • Experience in financial statement preparation
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills
    • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
