    Job Description

    Summary

    Receive food and beverage orders from guests. Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with established service standards. Refills, sets/resets, stocks, clears and cleans dishes, glassware, silverware, linens, condiments, beverages, napkin holders and all other related supplies. Provides excellent customer service to our fine dining guests.

    • Create and ensure a fun-filled, entertaining, and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount
    • Promote positive co-worker and guest interactions, maintain professionalism at all times while working with other employees, departments, and guests
    • Demonstrates a courteous, friendly, polite, and congenial and efficient attitude
    • Relays guest complaints/compliments to the appropriate supervisor
    • Adhere to established company and departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines at all times
    • Must always adheres to health & sanitation guidelines including food and beverage policy and procedures
    • Maintains company and departmental uniform, appearance, and hygiene standards at all times
    • Greet and take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders into computer system
    • Prepare food orders, set trays, and transport food & beverage items to food service areas
    • Responsible for setting tables including but not limited to proper dressing, napkins, silverware, tabletop condiments, ice buckets, etc.
    • Maintain breakdown area
    • Completes all established set-up, stocking and closing duties on time
    • Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free environment within area of responsibility
    • Clears, clean and resets tables according to procedures
    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced operating mode.
    • Adheres to state liquor laws
    • Performs all related, compatible, and miscellaneous duties as assigned by leadership.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Must be at least 21 years of age
    • Must be able to obtain RAMP alcoholic certification
    • Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, lift, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat and grasp
    • Must be able to walk and stand for eight hours
    • Repeated bending and lifting
    • Must be able to lift and carry small and large trays and/or bus tubs weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly
    • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
    • Ability to handle or seek assistance for all types of guest related situations
    • Shift assignments may be irregular, and will cover days, nights, weekends, and holidays
    • Must be able to pass all Training and Tests associated with job
    • Ability to effectively communicate with guests, co-workers, and management
    • Ability to effectively communicate in English
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
