  • Responsibilities

    The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide outpatient rehab services in patients’ homes, including private residences and senior living communities. The SLP will assess and treat speech, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders—helping patients regain function and quality of life in a flexible, home-based setting.

    Requirements:

    • Active Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice or proof of eligibility.
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or current eligibility to complete a Clinical Fellowship (CFY).
    • Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to travel between patient locations.
    • Ability to supervise CFYs, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel as needed.
    • Strong documentation skills for timely and accurate clinical and billing records.
    • Ability to develop and implement treatment plans for a variety of conditions including:
      • Speech intelligibility
      • Cognitive-communication
      • Swallowing disorders (dysphagia)
      • Pragmatics and functional communication
      • Psychosocial expression and memory/orientation
