Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) โ Part-Time and Full-Time positions available!
Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. This role focuses on Early Intervention and involves providing in-home therapy services, with occasional Telehealth sessions as requested.
๐ Service Areas: Bellflower, Norwalk, Artesia, Cerritos, Downey, Lakewood, Long Beach, Torrance, Carson, Montebello, and Pico Rivera ๐ฐ Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour (based on experience) โณ Hours: 5 โ 40 hours per week (depends on part-time or full-time position)
Position Details
Part-time (minimum 5 hours per week)
Full-time (35-40 hours per week)
Flexible schedule (daytime, after school, evenings, and weekends as needed)
Home-based therapy services with occasional Telehealth sessions
Responsibilities
Conduct pediatric patient assessments to determine speech and language disorders using either DAYC-2 or Bayley Scales 4th Edition
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
Provide speech therapy services to patients with various communication disorders, direct in-home
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care as needed
Monitor and document patient progress electronically and adjust treatment plans as needed
Educate patients and their families on speech and language strategies for improvement
Abide by ASHA CFY standards and guidelines for supervision
Qualifications
โ Masterโs degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
โ Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and language
โ CCC-SLP certification and California state licensure (required) โ Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team โ Strong communication and interpersonal skills โ Experience with children and early intervention (preferred) โ Bilingual in Spanish (preferred, but not required) โ CFYs are encouraged to apply
