    We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will participate in the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) process, develop and implement individualized therapy plans, and collaborate closely with teachers and families to support students with speech and language needs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Participate in the MTSS process to identify areas of need.

    - Collaborate in ARD/IEP committee meetings to set appropriate goals and objectives.

    - Develop and implement speech/language therapy aligned with students' IEPs.

    - Maintain written records to document student progress.

    - Assist teachers in accommodating and supporting students with speech/language challenges.

    - Utilize technology and augmentative devices to enhance the learning process.

    - Regularly report on student progress toward IEP goals.

    - Conduct ongoing assessments through formal and informal methods.

    - Create opportunities for students to practice speech/language skills in various environments.

    - Foster a supportive and conducive therapy environment.

    - Manage student behavior in line with the Student Code of Conduct.

    - Ensure the safety of students, equipment, and materials.

    - Compile and maintain required reports and documentation.

    - Attend faculty meetings and participate in staff development activities.

    - Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    - Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

    - Valid Texas state license or equivalent from ASHA or TEA.

    - Successful completion of a fingerprinting background check.

    Physical Requirements:

    - Ability to maintain emotional control under stress and manage frequent interruptions.

    - Capable of prolonged walking, standing, and lifting/carrying up to 40 pounds with assistance.

    - May require physical restraint under specific circumstances for student safety.
