    IAA's new north Charlotte campus opens this August for the 2024-25 school and we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. The SLP will be responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with communication disorders, collaborating with teachers and other professionals, and implementing strategies to support students' communication needs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conducting assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities
    • Developing and implementing individualized learning plans
    • Providing direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
    • Monitoring and documenting students' progress
    • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs
    • Co-teach with classroom teachers, as appropriate, to support students within the classroom
    • Providing consultation and training to school staff and parents
    • Keeping abreast of current research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree
    • State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
    • Experience working with students with special needs
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
    • Commitment to professional growth and development

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, or related field
