Growth Educational Services, Inc. is seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team immediately. This position is ideal for a dynamic professional who is committed to enhancing the communication abilities of students in a school setting. The SLP will work closely with educators, students, and parents to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with communication disorders.
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to evaluate students’ needs and progress.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students, in collaboration with the school team.
Monitor and document student progress toward speech and language goals.
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to support students' communication development.
Provide guidance and support to staff regarding communication strategies and accommodations.
Participate in IEP meetings and other student-related conferences as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of services provided.
Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology and school-based therapy.
Foster a positive, inclusive environment for students to improve their communication skills.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
ASHA certification (or equivalent, if applicable) is preferred.
Previous experience working with children, particularly in a school setting, is a plus.
Strong understanding of speech and language development and disorders.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload.
