The Children's SPOT is therapist-owned, employee-driven and client-focused. We provide Speech, Occupational and ABA therapy and have a strong reputation in the area for being the best at what we do.

Join our therapy team and provide speech therapy for our private school partner in Eldersberg MD, and work with children with language-based learning challenges. This is a unique opportunity to work with specialized reading tutors, motivated and creative teachers and a group of fantastic kids, not to mention our own team of SPOT OT's who also provide services at the school. This school is also moving into a new building, and we are excited to have a new, fresh space to work in!

Responsibilities

Perform evaluations and create treatment plans customized for that client, working with them to set short and long term goals

Perform skilled interventions that meet the clients individual needs

Collaborate with school staff, teachers and reading tutors

Maintain excellent records of client needs, care, and outcomes

Work closely with the school and families to ensure they have the knowledge and tools they need for success

Qualifications

Active state license for practicing speech therapy

Ability to collaborate with other professionals

Ability to create a therapy schedule and adjust the schedule as needed

Excellent organizational skills

Strong documentation skills

Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite
