Speech-Language Pathologist - Clinical Fellow (CF) – Thrive Center is actively seeking passionate and dedicated Clinical Fellows in Speech-Language Pathology for in person opportunities across the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan, NY. Choose your work location, with multiple shifts available. This position is a direct hire.
Compensation: Clinical Fellows can earn between $38 - $45 per hour, depending on experience and location. You will also enjoy bi-weekly pay and Bonus our Referral Program. Option of health insurance.
Responsibilities:
You will work with students remotely and in local schools, helping to develop their speech and language skills to improve their personal, social, and academic development. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing clear instructions to students both in and out of the classroom on learning and skill development strategies that will enhance their language, understanding, and communication abilities.
Evaluating students' social and developmental needs using assessment tools.
Assisting teachers in implementing and developing curriculum modifications and classroom strategies, as needed.
Working one-on-one with students in the classroom to reinforce and support the teacher’s lesson plans.
Participating in team and professional development planning sessions.
Supervision and Support:
At Thrive Center, you will receive excellent supervision to guide you through your Clinical Fellowship year. Our experienced supervisors will help you navigate the necessary paperwork and processes to become a fully licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). You’ll have the support you need to grow professionally and reach your full potential.
Qualifications:
To qualify for these Clinical Fellow positions, we require:
A New York State Education Department certification.
A Teaching Students with Speech-Language Disabilities (TSSLD) Certificate (or eligibility to obtain one).
A master’s degree or equivalent education in speech-language pathology.
A willingness to be a team player and contribute to the continued development of the program.
