Freelancer/Independent contractors: We are looking for legal transcribers from all over the U.S. (with the exception of California). If you're interested, please let us know if you have experience with legal transcription. Pay starts at $0.60 pam but will increase to up to $0.85 pam over time as long as your transcripts are 98+% accurate and no review is needed. We are expecting a lot of volume and need several candidates for this job. Please DO NOT apply to this job if you do not have transcription experience or if you do not meet all of the following requirements. Requirements: 1) U.S. Citizen (No California residents). This requirement is not negotiable as these are insurance calls that contain personal information and we require a U.S. background check (Item 3 below). 2) Government-issued photo ID and valid US phone number. ABSOLUTELY NO VOIPS! 3) You must pass a background check through Sentrylink. The $20 payment is to be borne by you through this website -check.action I will send you instructions upon approval of your application on how to share this with me. 4) You must pass a short, online HIPAA compliance test. The $10 payment is to be borne by you through this website -training/ 5) Have access to a non-public Windows PC and a current Microsoft 365 subscription or a fully licensed version of Microsoft Office newer than 2003. 6) We reserve the right to delete your transcription account if you are found in violation of our TOS or if your transcriptions are not up to par with our standards. Again, if you do not have verbatim, legal transcription experience, please do not apply. Pay rate will be $0.60 per audio minute.
