    D’Youville University seeks a Grants Data Management and Evaluation Associate to support two federally funded initiatives:

    • 50% - Health Careers Opportunity Program (HCOP) - Program Evaluator: Focus on evaluating the impact of the HCOP program, which assists economically and educationally disadvantaged individuals in entering and graduating from health professions programs.
    • 50% - HRSA NEPQR- Community Health Promotion - Data Management Specialist: Support data collection, organization, and reporting for a grant aimed at enhancing healthcare access through mobile nurse training units in rural and underserved areas.

    Reporting to the Program Manager, HRSA Nurse Education, Practice, Quality, and Retention (NEPQR), this position is full-time, grant-funded, and requires collaboration with faculty, staff, and external partners. The successful candidate will manage data, conduct program evaluations, and generate reports to demonstrate program effectiveness and compliance with grant objectives.

    Responsibilities: Health Careers Opportunity Program (HCOP) - Program Evaluator (50%)

    • Coordinate and execute HCOP evaluation activities to track progress toward program goals.
    • Collaborate with HCOP staff and external evaluators to assess and refine evaluation strategies.
    • Identify priority areas for data collection and evaluation aligned with HCOP objectives.
    • Develop and document standardized evaluation procedures.
    • Collect, organize, and analyze program data while maintaining confidentiality.
    • Identify trends and outcomes to illustrate program impact.
    • Prepare evaluation reports for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Participate in HCOP activities and programming throughout the year.

    HRSA Mobile Nurse Training Grant - Data Management Specialist (50%)

    • Manage data collection and reporting for the HRSA NEPQR- Community Health Promotion Grant.
    • Develop and maintain databases to track participant enrollment, progress, and outcomes.
    • Assist in compiling required reports for grant compliance and performance monitoring.
    • Support faculty and staff in using data for decision-making and program improvements.
    • Ensure accurate and timely submission of data to funding agencies.
    • Collaborate with university departments, healthcare partners, and community organizations to optimize data management processes.

    Qualifications:

    Education:

    • Master’s degree required; preferred in education, data analytics, public health, public administration, or a related field. Candidates with relevant Master’s degrees in progress may be considered.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of three years in program evaluation, data management, or grant-related research.

    • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, SPSS, SAS, or similar).
    • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with faculty, staff, and external partners.
    • Ability to manage multiple data sets, maintain accuracy, and protect confidential information.
    • Ability to balance responsibilities across two distinct grants and work independently

    Pay: $45,000 - $50,000 Annually
