    Sponsorship Development Manager - Your Job Duties:

    You will directly impact the Organization’s growth and impact through your efforts to secure sponsors and partnerships that provide non-member revenue (sponsorships, affinity relationships, advertising revenue and donations).

    • Work list of existing prospects provided by the organization
    • Identify new potential prospects you identify through your creativity and expertise
    • Conduct meetings with potential prospects, articulating the organization mission and the ROI of investment, and securing revenue
    • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership team to help develop and execute non-dues revenue strategy, annual goals and strategies
    • Track ongoing results as compared to budget and KPI targets, communicating and collaborating with the team regarding any ideas, improvements or adjustments to improve results

     Sponsorship Development Manager – Who You Are (Required Experience & Fit):

    You are:

    • Experienced at developing and following up with a sales funnel (this might be inside sales, outside sales, fundraising, sponsorship, recruitment)
    • A natural relationship builder – your follow up, approachability and articulation of value builds trust
    • In it for more than just a quick sale – we are about building lasting value for our members and sponsor partners, and ensuring long-lasting relationships and ROI
    • Proficient in MS Office suite including MS Excel for spreadsheet tracking
    • Knowledgeable with CRM platforms (ie: Hubspot)

    A successful Sponsorship Development Manager enters the Organization with a plan for increasing the number of prospects in the funnel, approaching them with our compelling offering and has excellent follow up to secure sponsorship relationships, working independently and generating BIG and impactful results.

    Sponsorship Development Manager – You Might Have (Desired Past Experience, Not Required)

    • Experience with the legal industry, selling to law related channel partners (ie: practice management software, professional services for legal industry)
    • Experience working with volunteer leaders or serving on a board
    • Prior experience in a fundraising or development role with a non-profit or association organization

    Your compensation will be a base salary of up to $90,000, plus additional incentive compensation as a result of meeting specific objectives, targets and KPIs and results.

    You will be provided with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance (most plan options are 100% covered for you) supplemental disability insurance, life insurance, 401k with a 3% safe harbor contribution, paid time off and 18 paid holidays.

    In addition, Company-paid parking is available on in-office days

    You will work hybrid in both the Sacramento office and remotely. You may travel to meetings throughout the state as needed for events and meetings with sponsorship prospects.
