Job Description
Our award-winning AECOM Sports and Venues practice is seeking an Architectural and Interiors New Grads for immediate employment based in either of our three offices, located in Kansas City, MO, Los Angeles, CA, and New York, NY. The candidate is to lead and execute interdisciplinary projects with a focus on Sports, and Public Assembly, including professional and collegiate arenas, stadia and coliseums, and recreation centers.
Our Sports practice is an established leader in the market with over three decades of success. This studio-sized practice focuses its work on everything from performance and development facilities to primary competition venues, ranging anywhere from small collegiate clients to the largest of professional leagues and franchises. We look to combine beauty, sustainability, resiliency, equity, and innovation in our projects and believe these values can be instilled in any project regardless of size or budget.
Under the AECOM Buildings + Places business line, we embody the spirit of a nimble, fully integrated design firm within a fully global infrastructure organization. Our culture is dynamic, offering autonomy and the feel of a smaller, collaborative studio backed by the resources of a large interdisciplinary firm. Services include architecture, interiors, building and system engineering, urbanism, planning (inclusive of landscape design), strategy +, economics, technology solutions, asset advisory, and cost and program management. This diverse team assists our clients from strategy through project realization, creating positive outcomes for those who occupy and use the buildings and environments we help to create.
In your role, as entry-level new hires you are eligible to participate in AECOM’s Graduate Development Program (GDP), a 2-year development experience designed to support assimilation into the organization, help with technical development planning toward licensure (or other early technical milestones), and with creating a foundation of knowledge necessary for future career success.
