Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spotfire Developer for a part-time role to support our data analytics and business intelligence initiatives in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Spotfire, IronPython scripting, SQL, and Oracle databases, as well as experience as a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer. This is an immediate hire role, and the candidate must be available to join right away.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Spotfire dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions to support business insights and decision-making processes.

Utilize IronPython scripting to enhance and customize Spotfire functionality.

Write and optimize complex SQL queries and work with Oracle databases to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions using Spotfire.

Maintain and improve existing BI solutions while ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and performance.

Provide guidance and support for end-users, helping them understand and leverage Spotfire visualizations effectively.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Spotfire, SQL, and Oracle.

Work closely with stakeholders in the pharmaceutical industry to ensure compliance with industry-specific standards and requirements.

Ensure timely and effective delivery of reports and dashboards on a weekly or project-based schedule.

Qualifications:

5+ years of hands-on experience with Spotfire development.

Expertise in IronPython scripting for advanced Spotfire customization.

Strong proficiency in SQL and working with Oracle databases.

Experience as a BI Developer with a focus on data visualization and analytics.

Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to deliver high-quality work within 20 hours per week.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders and team members.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with other BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is a plus.

Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.

Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in the pharmaceutical industry.
