    Job Description

    The Copywriter, Branded Marketing is responsible for owning our branded copy across all marketing channels, with a primary focus on email, social media, digital ads and website content. This role will be able to synthesize strategic guidance and create engaging, effective copy to spur our audience to take action — whether it’s to learn more, to fill out a lead form or to call our brands. This role should have a keen eye for the minutiae of words, understanding how to write concise, clear and captivating copy while incorporating brand and/or audience personas to drive effectiveness.

    The essential duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

    • Develop and implement creative and effective copy for email campaigns, social media posts, digital ads, and website content.

    • Write persuasive and engaging headlines, taglines, and calls-to-action to capture and retain the target audience's attention.

    • Collaborate with the marketing team and other stakeholders to understand campaign objectives, target audience, and key messages to effectively communicate the brand's value proposition.

    • Conduct thorough research on industry trends, target audience preferences, and competitive landscape to inform copywriting strategies.

    • Adapt writing style and tone to align with the brand personality, maintaining consistency in messaging across all marketing channels.

    • Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines.

    • Where needed, collaborate with the Content Director to ensure website content is optimized for Organic Search (SEO)

    • Work closely with the creative team to develop concepts and ideas for visual content that complement and enhance the copy.

    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as product managers and subject matter experts, to gather information and insights necessary for content creation.

    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in copywriting and marketing to continuously improve skills and deliver innovative ideas.

    • Monitor and analyze the performance of copy across various marketing channels, making data-driven decisions to enhance future campaigns.

    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.

    • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience demonstrating success in a similar role.

    • Exceptional written skills

    • Familiarity with applying brand persona and voice to copy

    • Experience with email, digital ads and short-form website content

    • Google Analytics Certification is preferred, but not required.

    Additional Information

    Salary:

    $71,000 to $78,000
