    Job Description

    The Sales Specialist position is a challenging role that provides a unique opportunity to learn the fundamentals of our product offerings. This position will be responsible for contacting seniors to see if they are interested in learning more about our senior health care offerings. This position is a fast-paced role and would be great for someone who thrives in a fast-paced working environment.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES

    The essential duties for this role include, but are not limited to: 

    • Connect with and screen consumers interested in learning about and or purchasing Medicare Supplement/Advantage Insurance.
    • Execute the transfer of potential clients to a licensed insurance agent.
    • Articulate the benefits of comparison shopping for Medicare Insurance.
    • Navigate multiple systems while conducting consumer calls.
    • Meet and exceed specific, attainable dials, transfers & production goals.
    • Attend and contribute to meetings and training sessions regularly.
    • Predictable and reliable attendance. 
    • Ability to overcome customer objections & articulate the value of working with our agency.
    • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

     

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma or GED 
    • Minimum (1) year of pre-sales or customer service experience environment
    • Proficient technology skills 
    • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to meet deadlines
    • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills, including professional phone etiquette 
    • Ability to adapt to new technology, systems, and processes 
    • Comfortable working in a pre-sales environment
