Sprinkler Fire Protection Manager

Join Our Team as a Sprinkler Fire Protection Manager!
We are seeking an experienced, career-oriented individual in the alarm industry.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Supervise and manage all technicians and office admin within the department.
- Assist with and oversee sprinkler project designs.
- Receive and process calls for service/testing/repair/proposals from customers. Provide technical support to customers when needed.
- Support field technicians and monitor their work productivity to ensure that service requests are completed promptly and in accordance with department policies.
- Review, monitor, and direct the coordination with customers to schedule service work, follow-up work, and inspections within both the office and field environments.
- Review work orders for follow-up service as needed. Schedule follow-up service as required.
- Process material requisitions for parts needed in order to complete service work.
- Basic billing and financial responsibilities.
- Open and close service call tickets within the company’s database.
- Complete “Work In Process” Reports monthly.
- Complete reports related to production and quality as required.
- Provide input to Operations Manager as it pertains to field employee performance and disciplinary matters as requested.
- Customer support and satisfaction.
- Other duties as assigned.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Must have extensive knowledge of commercial fire sprinkler systems and NFPA.
- Basic knowledge of sprinkler design.
- Must have basic technical knowledge of electronic life safety systems.
- Has NICET and/or the ability to obtain NICET.
- Basic computer literacy is required. Knowledge of MS Windows ME/NT is required. MS Office Suite proficiency is required as a minimum.
- Excellent customer relations skills are mandatory. Must have a high level of dedication to providing superior company and customer service.
- Analytical ability is required to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work.
- Good oral/written communication skills are necessary. Must be able to work in a high volume/fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Must be comfortable being on call.
- Work requires continual attention in establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Must have a positive and respectful attitude while maintaining good working relationships with management staff, as well as both office and field employees.
- Previous management experience required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite as a minimum. Any experience with Viewpoint by Vista or Building Reports is a plus.
- Requires supervisory experience in Fire Sprinkler/Life Safety. Work in a supervisory role for a minimum of 5 years is required
