Position: Sprinkler Service Technician
We are looking for an experienced Sprinkler Service Technician to join our team. Bring your skills to our well-established company!
This position will assist in repairing and installing wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge fire protection piping, valves, and accessories for commercial, some residential buildings, and industrial applications in compliance with current codes.
What You Bring:
- Three to five years of experience in servicing sprinkler systems and suppression systems.
- Proficient in following written and verbal instructions, with exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain productivity in the field, set goals, and meet service schedule.
- Competent in reading plans, documents, meters, and to discern colors for safety signage.
- Eagerness for professional development and growth.
- Experience using power and hand tools.
- Positive customer relations experience and skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Must have a positive and respectful attitude and maintain good working relationships with management staff and employees.
- Ability to pass various background checks.
- Valid State Driver’s License with acceptable driving record for use of company vehicle.
- Desirable (but not required): NICET I OR II, other manufacturer’s certifications.

What You Will Do:
- Install, test, and repair fire sprinkler systems
- Troubleshoot system malfunctions and problems
- Knowledge of multiple types of systems and tests for proper operation
- Consult with clients on system issues; provide recommendations for repair
- Use blueprints or building plans to determine proper systems to install/service based on building layout and setting
- Inspect and test systems; make adjustments and repairs as required
- Replace malfunctioning hardware when necessary
- Ensure systems comply with NFPA fire codes
- Explain and demonstrate system function and operations to end users
- Perform other related duties as required
- Be on call as required
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
- Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and asking pertinent questions
- Provide support for form development and maintenance of inspection forms
- Follow design plans for installation jobs and communicate any design, perform service and deficiency jobs, and communicate and document any changes
- Responsible for materials delivered to site and for minor fabrication on job site
