Hartwig Staffing is partnered with a company looking for a Sr. Cost Accountant to join their team! This position pays $80-100K DOE.

Skills & Responsibilities:

• Analyze and report on cost variances, margins, and inventory valuation
• Develop and maintain standard costing processes
• Support budgeting and forecasting related to cost accounting
• Conduct financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Collaborate with operations and finance teams to improve cost efficiency
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of cost accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or a related industry
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting principles
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
