Job Description:

· Providing L1/L2 support coverage.

· Resolving user Inquiries and handling Production Incidents, Root cause Analysis.

· Experienced with Sql, ETL ,Linux, Windows

· User access reviews, Audit reviews, IDM reviews

· Help in coordinating/Managing DR flips

· Supporting Tidal jobs

· Good to have prior application support experience with any of these. Broadridge apps(Impact, Cognos, BPS, Message Automation) Murex, Smartloan, Loanet.

Years of Exp : 10-14 yrs in Application support.

· Supporting applications under Market Operations Support group.

· Experience with settlement, collateral and reg reporting(FI/EQ) and derivatives product.

· Working with various vendors to support different applications.

· Experience with Broadridge apps(Impact, Cognos, BPS, Message Automation).

· Experience with Loanet, Global one application.

· Ability to multitask several ongoing issues.

· Experienced in Linux, Sql DB.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Resolving user queries from business users.

· Picking up prod Incidents, Tidal Job failure tickets troubleshooting them and resolving them.

· Documenting and maintaining support knowledge share on Confluence.

· Working on data review by Audit teams, IDM team.

· Running reports for business users by querying DB.

Education: Bachelor in Computer Science, Information systems or similar field.

5 associates on this team, this will be the 6th – 2 offshore, the others are in NY/NJ

Capital markets industry background needed

SQL, Linux scripting are MUSTS

Prior application exp – BROADRIDGE FIXED INCOME (impact, BPS, Cognos reporting) Loannet applications

Cognos will make the candidate really stand out – they’re going to be implementing this tool more

Work “shifts” – 7AM to 4PM (work would be remote this week!) + 11AM to 7PM

5 people doing the rotations – this way it’s fair. Team member that will join will be part of this rotation

Hybrid – Metropark NJ, 3 days in office per week

IF NYC, FULL REMOTE IF THEY ARE WORKING THE EARLY SHIFT STARTNG AT 7AM

Contract length: 6 months, this is the max they can put. But they want this person for 1-year. Based on performance.

Linux scripting – Powershell, Perl, Bash is good too. (SHELL SCRIPT IS THIS MANAGER’S FAVORITE)

They have to have this, no exceptions.

TIDAL IS THE JOB SCHEDULING TOOL UTILIZED – would be handy, not required.
