    Position Overview:

    As an Automation and Controls Engineer, you will play a crucial role in analyzing requirements, configuring, installing, commissioning, and inspecting systems hardware and software, troubleshooting, and resolving complex problems. You will also be responsible for managing customer needs and ensuring their satisfaction over time. This role requires a strong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Configuration, installation, and commissioning of Emerson DeltaV DCS platforms.
    • Programming, installation, maintenance, testing, startup, upgrading, and troubleshooting of control systems.
    • Working with DCS, various PLC systems, and related industrial process instrumentation.
    • Providing technical support and resolving customer issues promptly.
    • Traveling to remote customer sites across the United States (up to 50%).

    Qualifications:

    • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV DCS configuration, installation, and commissioning.
    • Strong computer, server, and networking skills, along with a solid understanding of basic industrial instrumentation.
    • Instrumentation (I&E) and/or engineering background is highly desirable.
    • Proficiency in programming and providing daily administrative technical support for control systems.
    • Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug and alcohol screenings.
    • Ability to comply with customer site access/entry requirements.
    • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. (sponsorship is not available).

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift 25+ pounds periodically.
    • Ability to see, respond to, and report dangerous situations.
    • Capability to bend, walk, climb, kneel, sit, and stand for extended periods.
    • Willingness to wear required PPE/safety gear.
