Job Title: Senior Construction Manager
Compensation: $141,700 - $177,000 Annual Salary
The base salary or hourly wage range for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. Location: Remote, with ability to work on-site at the Din Tai Fung - Corporate Office in Arcadia, California as needed.

About the Role:
Din Tai Fung is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to oversee the successful execution of multiple restaurant construction projects annually. This role requires extensive on-site supervision to monitor construction progress and travel to project sites as needed based on critical project milestones.
Responsibilities:
Pre-Construction Management
Develop and oversee bidding processes, including solicitation, evaluation, and negotiation of contractor proposal
Review and coordinate tenant construction requirements with Landlord work letter during lease negotiations and provide ROM estimates as required
Construction Management
Oversee 3-5 restaurant construction projects per year from pre-construction through turnover
Manage on-site supervision and ensure compliance with project specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
Lead and coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
Maintain and manage construction budgets, ensuring costs remain within approved limits while delivering high-quality results.
Oversee and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and change orders to maintain project momentum and clarity.
Monitor schedules and proactively address any delays or issues to keep projects on track.
Conduct regular progress OAC meetings, providing clear communication and reporting to internal stakeholders.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Manage GC and other construction vendors to ensure on-time completion of all NRO's
Provide vendor performance review at completion of each construction project

Job Requirements:
15–20 years of experience in construction management, ideally within the food and beverage or hospitality industry, with extensive knowledge of construction methods, practices, and expertise in kitchen design and installation.
Travel to project sites is required to supervise construction progress at critical milestones as well as deep understanding of construction technology and expertise in kitchen equipment planning, installation, and coordination of all kitchen systems.
Essential Functions:
Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore) and scheduling tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Special Requirements:
Travel to project sites is required to supervise construction progress at critical milestones.
