Sr. DevOps/Cloud Solutions Engineer (Kubernetes & Helm)

Location: Arlington, VA – Hybrid (2-3 Days/Week)

Clearance Requirement: Active Secret

**We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with 10+ years of experience in Kubernetes and Helm. Familiarity in Big Bang and Crossplane is preferred. Candidates should possess a developer-first mindset, and have the ability to code. **

Responsibilities:

• 3+ years working with Kubernetes or equivalent application platform. Ideal candidate has knowledge in:
  • Containerization
  • Cluster Administration
  • CI/CD Deployments
  • IAC’ed Bootstrap and Deployment
• 3+ years working with AWS constructs, at least one major serverless application architecture/deployment. More than simply “experience building EC2s,” candidate has experience and knowledge around:
  • Serverless Cloud
  • VM Instances
  • Cloud Specific Kubernetes Offerings (EKS, AKS, GKE)
  • Storage Solutions (S3, EBS, EFS)
• Knowledge of DevOps, DevSecOps, and best practices, including:
  • CI/CD
  • Platform
  • Authentication/Authorization

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

· 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting and/or public accounting.

· Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

· SEC experience, including the drafting of quarterly 10-Q and annual 10-K financial statements and other regulatory filings.

· Strong communication skills. Able to recognize communicate accounting issues and communicate them appropriately. Able to work with professionals throughout the organization with varying backgrounds, abilities, and communications styles.

· Experience with a multi-entity, multi-currency accounting environment.

· Experience with JD Edwards or comparable ERP system.

· Experience with Workiva Wdesk is a plus.
