The Role
As our Senior Director of People Operations, you'll wear many hats (sometimes all at once!) while serving as KidStrong's HR leader. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll handle everything from daily HR operations to contributing to strategic decisions that shape our future. This isn't your typical HR role – we're looking for someone who can build processes, solve unique challenges, and help maintain our culture as we grow.
What You'll Do...
Build & Run Our HR Operations (50%)
Own our entire employee lifecycle, from hiring to alumni relationships
Create and run efficient HR processes
Manage all the HR essentials
Design programs that reflect our entrepreneurial spirit
Keep us compliant while maintaining our startup flexibility
Create an Amazing Employee Experience (20%)
Champion our culture and values
Design and run programs that make KidStrong a great place to work
Help us celebrate wins and learn from challenges
Create communication channels that keep our team connected
Make sure our benefits and perks align with what our team needs
Shape Our People Strategy (15%)
Partner with our leadership team to build scalable people programs
Help us maintain our strong culture as we grow
Contribute to strategic decisions about our organization's future

What You'll Bring...
7+ years of HR experience, with at least some of that in a fast-growth environment
Experience building HR functions (bonus points for startup experience)
Strong knowledge of HR fundamentals and compliance requirements
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
The ability to work independently while keeping others informed
Franchise experience is a huge plus

Experience in a franchisor organization
Startup or high-growth company background
Track record of building HR functions from scratch
Multi-state employment law expertise
Experience with modern HR tools and technologies
