    Sr. Director, Talent Acquisition

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a transformational Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition to lead and oversee U.S. recruitment efforts for both corporate and field positions. Based in Minneapolis, MN, this role will be responsible for driving the vision, development, and execution of recruiting strategies that attract top talent across all functions. This individual will develop and oversee a high-performing team, collaborate closely with executive leadership, and partner with HR and business unit leaders to forecast hiring needs, enhance employer branding, and build a best-in-class candidate experience.

    With a deep understanding of both the talent landscape and business priorities, the Sr. Director will play a critical role in shaping the workforce of the future by developing innovative sourcing approaches, optimizing recruitment processes, and ensuring inclusive, data-driven hiring practices that support organizational growth and culture.

     

    Key responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to attract top talent across the U.S given anticipated growth

    • Develop strategy for hiring multi-incumbent positions, creatively exploring non-traditional talent sources

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a staff of 20+ to support hiring across all business functions — HQ and Manufacturing locations

    • Create a new TA structure which best aligns with the needs of the business

    • Partner with senior leadership and HR teams to align forward thinking hiring strategies with company growth objectives.

    • Drive employer branding initiatives to position the company as a top employer in the market.

    • Standardize approach to recruiting, ensuring candidates have similar experiences across the hiring process and that hiring managers assess candidates equitably.

    • Optimize recruitment processes, technology, and data analytics to improve efficiency and hiring outcomes. Develop key metrics which measure hiring process, key trends and hiring effectiveness.

    • Manage key external partnerships with recruitment agencies, job boards, and industry organizations.

    • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory hiring practices.

    Qualifications:

    • 10+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, including at least 5 years in a leadership role managing large teams and complex hiring strategies.

    • Proven experience designing and executing scalable talent acquisition strategies across multi-site operations, including corporate and manufacturing environments.

    • Demonstrated success leading high-volume and multi-incumbent hiring initiatives, with creative approaches to accessing non-traditional talent pools.

    • Strong understanding of employer branding, recruitment marketing, and candidate experience best practices.

    • Deep knowledge of recruiting technologies (ATS, CRM, sourcing tools) and experience leveraging data and analytics to drive decision-making.

    • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team development skills; track record of building high-performing and collaborative recruiting teams.

    • Experience partnering with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders to align talent initiatives with business goals.

    • Strong project management skills and ability to lead organizational change and process improvement initiatives.

    • Thorough knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulatory requirements related to hiring and recruitment practices.

    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
