Job Description:
Conduct research and provide multidisciplinary analysis to support resource planning.
Present clear and concise reports to stakeholders, including executives and regulators.
Develop and manage computer models for resource procurement, operations, retirements, and planning.
Prepare and communicate resource modeling inputs and results.
Perform market analysis for resource investments, acquisitions, and commercial opportunities.
Represent technical findings and modeling assumptions in stakeholder meetings.
Support regulatory processes, prepare written testimony, and respond to data requests.
Act as an expert witness in regulatory proceedings.
Research industry trends to inform future filings.
Mentor junior staff and lead in the absence of the Manager.
Ensure compliance with policies, codes, and regulations.
Skills and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree
8-12 years of experience in utility production cost modeling
Knowledge of energy supply fundamentals, regional market behaviors, and environmental regulations
Proficiency in modeling, analytical, and statistical software
Strong quantitative, project management, planning, and organizational skills
Excellent presentation and interpersonal abilities
