Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Technician to perform complex component-level repairs, troubleshoot electronic systems, and optimize testing processes in a fast-paced technical environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with RF testing, electronic diagnostics, and process improvement while ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Component-Level Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose, test, and repair electronic components and systems using specialized tools such as oscilloscopes, RF test stations, and calibration equipment.
Technical Process Development: Design, develop, and optimize testing processes, equipment, and programs to enhance efficiency and quality control.
Customer & OEM Collaboration: Serve as the technical liaison between the client, customers, and OEMs to ensure seamless integration and resolution of technical issues.
Data Analysis & Process Improvement: Maintain and analyze engineering data, process workflows, and time studies to improve accuracy and operational efficiency.
On-Site Technical Support: Travel to customer facilities for technical training, troubleshooting, and process evaluation.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to ESD protocols, hazard communication guidelines, and customer-specific training requirements.
Required Skills & Equipment Proficiency:
Strong Computer & IT Skills for hardware and software diagnostics.
Experience operating RF Test Stations, oscilloscopes, soldering irons, and electronic calibration equipment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering schematics, technical manuals, and process flow documentation.
Education & Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
2+ years of hands-on experience in electronics repair, testing, and diagnostics.
Equivalent military or industry work experience in an electronics-related field is highly desirable.
Training & Certifications:
Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Training
Hazard Communication Training
On-the-Job Training (OJT) & additional customer-specific training as required
