    American Heritage Lending, LLC located in Irvine CA is looking for a Sr. Encompass Administrator.

    Position Overview:

    The Encompass Administrator will be responsible for the configuration and support of the Encompass platform, and a variety of loan origination, secondary, and online marketing platforms. The Administrator is responsible for the implementation of system updates, customizations, configuration changes, creating reports, and handling support issues. This person will collaborate with technical and cross-functional partners to solicit needs, determine feasibility, and implement configuration changes. They will implement process improvement to ensure efficient issue resolution and help define and drive business-as-usual development pipeline while optimizing performance and stability.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

    Provide 3rd-tier production support for Business Analysts (BAs) and Deployment staff.

    Develop and document the functionality of applications.

    Conduct peer code reviews to guarantee adherence to proper coding practices.

    Analyze and coordinate system updates within our customized environment, liaising with vendors.

    Analyze production defects and institute processes to mitigate future risks.

    Cultivate teamwork and collaboration, communicating effectively to set goals, resolve issues, and make decisions that enhance the Loan Origination system and organizational effectiveness.

    Collaborate directly with the Business to comprehend and offer technical solutions that align with business requirements. Collaborate with project managers, as well as business and IT teams, to establish project timelines.

    Contribute to projects, such as the creation of an independent fee calculation engine to provide borrowers with precise fee schedules.

    Fulfill special tasks as assigned by the manager when needed.

    Contribute to the introduction of new features within the Encompass loan origination system like:

    Creating proprietary data extract scripts to retrieve Encompass data for consumption by various third-party applications.

    Automating new features, processes, and workflows for loans.

    Designing and implementing new screens, calculations, and permission structures.

    Writing form-based code within Encompass to capture Underwriter (UW) productivity.

    Executing updates to the Encompass SDK.

    Establishing web APIs for Encompass

    Designing custom plugins

    Experience & Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):

    3+ years of related work experience; mortgage banking experience preferred

    3 or more years of technical software support experience with a demonstrated ability for overseeing systems, teams, and projects

    Encompass Administrator: 3 years (Required); Encompass Admin Certification (Preferred)

    Excel background strongly preferred

    The Encompass Admin/Developer possesses a strong background in software development.

    Proficiency in VB.net or C# and experience in Visual Studio and JavaScript development preferred.

    Encompass Development experience or previous development on other Loan Origination Systems, with a strong background in mortgage lending.

    Have a comprehensive understanding of the mortgage industry life cycle, loan products, and policies.

    Experience in writing and maintaining Rest + SOAP Based APIs

    Familiarity with customizing code for a Encompass Loan Origination System.

    Ability to manage active initiatives, including support and project-related tasks.

    Experience working on projects that significantly impact business operations.
