Senior Financial Analyst OR FP&A Manager

*Bilingual Chinese Mandarin is preferred but not required and Title is flexible depending on experience 

Our client is a large Consumer Products | Retail Company with locations throughout the United States. They are growing and seeking an experienced and "go getter" Sr. FA or Manager to their Finance Team.

Summary:

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Sr. FA/Manager will join the Finance team and work closely with other financial professionals and CFO to prepare financial statements, reporting and analysis, and provide sounded business recommendations to support operations.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flow reports
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet
• Create regular sales and operations reports including COGS, Trends and KPIs
• Data mining to identify sales, margin, expense trends, patterns, and recommend process change/ improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with other departments to execute the reports and solve business issues
• Ability to continually make process improvement to do things more efficiently and effectively
• Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the company's value
• Prepare capital expenditure (CapEx) supporting documents and analysis for upper management approval
• Strong project management experience
• Other ad hoc reporting and analysis requests as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Admin or Computer science from a reputable University/College required; Masters/MBA a plus
• 3+ years of overall combined accounting and finance, and/or data analysis experience preferably from large company
• Strong technical skills including advanced Excel and data warehouse experience (SAP helpful)
• Industry experience in Food & Beverage, Restaurant|Retail, CPG, Consumer Products, Manufacturing, Distributions and/or Packaging Goods required
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese required
• Strong organizational and business process skills with attention to detail
• Capable of driving change transformation and strategy execution to achieve specific business results
• Able to utilize the latest technology to enhance the growth of an organization
• Ability to anticipate internal or external business challenges/regulatory issues and make recommendations
• Capable of directing the resolution of complex or unusual business problems, while applying advanced analytical thought and judgment
• Demonstrates a high level of ethical behavior in exercising judgment and discretion in matters of significance
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence, while exercising sensitivity to the audience
• Business acumen and ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge
