    Diamond Technology is a Technical Services company. We have a business client who is a large local public organization with an opening for the following position:

    JOB TITLE: Sr. IT Business Analyst (Temp Contract)

    NUMBER OF OPENINGS: 2

    DESIRED START DATE: Soon

    LOCATION: San Francisco: ON-SITE + Local travel required to multiple Bay Area work locations

    DURATION: 6+ months. 40 hours a week.

    HOURLY RATE: $85ph to $95ph

    SKILLS SUMMARY

    10 years of experience working with email domain changes, email migration projects involving inbound & outbound email flow

    Intermediate to advanced experience using Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint).

    10 year of experience working with large organizations

    Responsibilities for these projects include but are not limited to the following:

    1. Task 1: Professional Services - As-Needed at the discretion of the IS Project Director / Project Manager. Scope of work may include but not limited to the following: A. Provide analytical support and serve as a subject matter expert to the ITS Program and Project Manager for website, e-mail domain migration, and disaster recovery service efforts. B. Lead requirements gathering discussions, analyze and draft technical requirements. C. Create various types of reports, maintain records for system documentation, and provide functional support for large-scale projects in ITS Portfolio Management. D. Intermediate to advanced experience using Microsoft applications; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint. E. Familiar with website redirects, e-mail domain redirects, and e-mail delivery processes. F. Documenting requirements for ITS for business processes and applications. G. Experience with documenting requirements for website and e-mail domain migration services, which will include domain updates within various applications. H. May require research and analysis of software products specific to e-mail domain migration for business communication, IT and business continuity within various applications. I. Responsible for training and transitioning project work to City staff.

    2. Task 2: Project Management – As-Needed at the discretion of the ITS Program / Project Manager. Scope may include but is not limited to the following: J. Planning, Project Schedule Creation, Quality, Scope & Change Management K. Risk Management: Responsible for documenting risk management and contingency plans. L. Responsible for drafting agenda items and meeting minutes. M. Stakeholder Engagement Management: Plan communication strategy to internal and external ensure stakeholders are informed of e-mail domain migration. N. Monitor and report on project status and report on project constraints. O. Assist with overseeing project-related functions as-needed. P. Responsible for training and transitioning project work to City staff.

    3. Task 3: Disaster Recovery Analysis Q. Analyze existing policies and procedures, provide recommendations for improvements, and document requirements as needed. Responsible for documenting risk management and contingency plans. R. Responsible for training and transitioning project work to City staff.

    Project Success Criteria: Success will be measured by each Technical Business Analysts’ ability to complete the tasks assigned to them by the SFPUC-IS Project Director / Project Manager and outlined herein. Additional success factors will include realized benefits/outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.
