Small operator in Houston seeking a Sr. JIB Accountant to support newly acquired acreage for operating assets. This person will be part of a small team and will be an immediate hire.

Responsibilities

• Analyze JIB receivable accounts to ensure payments are on time and accurate
• Process JIB invoices
• Accurately record lease operating and capital expenditures
• Ensure compliance with COPAS
• Maintain inventory and property records

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Accounting or related degree required
• 5+ years of O&G experience (Upstream Operator experience required)
• Knowledge with ARO (asset retirement obligations) required
• Prefer local Houston candidates
