    Job Description

    The purpose of this job is to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Procurement construction and maintenance category management team to provide product and services sourcing for Pilot’s Construction and Facility Maintenance teams based in Knoxville, TN.

    1. Oversee, lead, and set priorities for the Procurement team members
    2. Select, coach, train, and develop direct reports to include appraising job performance and conducting performance reviews. Coach and mentor team member procurement fundamentals
    3. Support development and management of a Pilot Procurement Center of Excellence to create an enterprise operating model to govern consistent processes and guide all sourcing decisions at Pilot
    4. Manage yearly strategic planning and conduct quarterly reviews with key Pilot construction and facility maintenance groups and related Pilot strategic vendors to ensure Pilot resources and vendors are aligned on contracting initiatives
    5. Build consensus and drive alignment amongst key stakeholders including Pilot construction and facility maintenance leaders and legal in support of Procurement initiatives and programs (sourcing, implementation, compliance)
    6. Lead key sourcing events and manage supplier relationships across construction and facility maintenance categories, acting as subject matter expert for contracts which includes knowledge of market capabilities, economic cost drivers, supplier financials and market competition
    7. Develop, prioritize, and manage cost savings through productivity and continuous improvement initiatives within area of responsibility
    8. Present data and reports to senior leadership
    9. Establish, regulate, revise and document policies, procedures, and workflow for assigned areas responsibility
    10. Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
    11. Ensure all activities comply with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
    12. Complete other duties as assigned

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Construction Management or related field and 6+ years of relevant experience
    • Significant experience in procurement for construction, facilities management and maintenance services
    • Proven expertise in managing large-scale procurement projects, contracts and vendor relationships within the construction and maintenance sectors
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
