    SR. MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

    Overview

    We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on supporting new product development, optimizing processes, and acting as a technical authority in metal processing.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan and sequence operations for the fabrication and assembly of products based on customer requirements.
    • Develop and implement efficient manufacturing methods compatible with available machinery.
    • Specify, design, and procure special tools or equipment within budget and time constraints to meet customer requirements.
    • Program CNC machines to ensure precise and efficient production of products.
    • Analyze and resolve fabrication and tooling issues to prevent disruptions and ensure smooth operations.
    • Create or modify manufacturing drawings using CAD software for enhanced accuracy and functionality.
    • Value-engineer existing products and processes to reduce costs, lead times, and cycle times.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and military standards.
    • Lead key programs and initiatives as a project manager to meet organizational goals.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of projects and deliverables.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in a high-precision manufacturing environment, or 13 years of equivalent experience.
    • Proficient in machining close-tolerance, high-precision metal products.
    • Hands-on experience with CAD/CAM tools such as NX, SolidWorks, Mastercam, CATIA, and others.
    • Strong background in metal processing (heat treating, surface finishing, forging, casting).
    • Proven track record in process improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
    • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
    • Analytical mindset with a passion for data, trends, and reporting.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively in group settings.
