    Job Summary for Sr. Project Manager - Mission Critical Construction:
    As a Senior Project Manager, you will take on a leadership role in managing large-scale, complex data center construction projects, focusing primarily on electrical systems. You will be responsible for the overall strategy, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep expertise in electrical construction and a proven track record in managing high-stakes projects.

    Key Responsibilities for Sr. Project Manager - Mission Critical Construction:

    • Lead the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of complex data center construction projects, with a strong emphasis on electrical systems.
    • Oversee the development and management of detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and ensuring alignment with project goals and expectations.
    • Review and interpret detailed project plans, specifications, and contracts, ensuring adherence to all project requirements and industry standards.
    • Lead the selection and management of subcontractors and vendors, ensuring high-quality work and timely delivery.
    • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, resolving any issues that may arise during construction.
    • Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations, codes, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Prepare and present comprehensive project reports to senior management and clients, including progress updates, financial reports, and change management documentation.
    • Mentor and provide guidance to Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
    • Drive process improvements across projects, implementing best practices and lessons learned to enhance future project delivery.

    Qualifications for Sr. Project Manager - Mission Critical Construction:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree or PMP certification is preferred.
    • 10+ years of experience in construction project management, with significant experience in managing large-scale electrical systems projects, particularly data centers.
    • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, and relevant codes and regulations.
    • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage large teams and complex projects effectively.
    • Proficiency in advanced project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, BIM).
    • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
    • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
    • Willingness to travel to project sites and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
