  • Responsibilities

    Provide daily and long-term management of software managed within the customer environment. This includes planning, monitoring, recording, and tracking software licenses to ensure compliance with license agreements and usage standards, service agreements, maintenance, and warranties.
    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Entering and maintaining software assets information in the approved database of record.
    • Processing end users request through ServiceNow tickets.
    • Manage software utilization.
    • Identify cost savings opportunities for renewals, software licensing, and services.
    • Provide recommendations for process improvements.
    • Review software normalization.
    • Review/update discovery mapping to existing software models/versions.
    • Manage/maintain non-standard and new software requests.
    • Check license availability for active software models.

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT software management.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of software asset life cycle management processes planning, deployment, monitoring, and disposal.
    • Must have working knowledge of the ServiceNow Software Asset Management module.
    • Must have experience creating software models, entering software entitlements and contracts, and linking them, reviewing software normalization, and performing detailed analysis of license utilization and opportunities for cost savings.
    • Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and electronically.
    • Must be detailed oriented to ensure accuracy of asset assignments, inventories, and reporting.
    • Must have a positive and patient customer service attitude.
    • Requires CSAM: Certified Software Asset Manager within 6-months of start.
    • Must be able to obtain agency suitability clearance prior to start.

  • Qualifications
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is required
