Position Summary
The Systems Test Engineer will be responsible for integrating, testing, and verifying the system and subsystems for the EVGS through completion of R&D, manufacturing, preclinical studies, system V&V, human case studies, and product launch.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for system level performance and reliability testing including writing test protocols, executing tests, and writing system verification reports
- Develop and validate test methods and fixtures (HW, SW) to support R&D and formal system verification and validation testing activities
- Transfer appropriate test capabilities to manufacturing
- Integrate and evaluate features and capabilities through the design and verification cycle, including identification and resolution of defects
- Participate in requirements definition, risk management activities
- Participate in preclinical studies to evaluate system performance
- Maintain design control in compliance with QMS by authoring specifications, protocols, & reports inclusive of documentation required for 510k regulatory approvals

Design or implementation flaws could compromise safety, performance, or reliability of the product.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical field. Advanced degrees preferred
- Proficient using Solidworks for test development
- Proficient using python and MATLAB for controlling system functions and data analysis
- Experience with 3D printing techniques for rapid prototyping
- Experience with medical devices a plus
- Experience with piezoelectric devices a plus
