Position Summary

The Systems Test Engineer will be responsible for integrating, testing, and verifying the system and subsystems for the EVGS through completion of R&D, manufacturing, preclinical studies, system V&V, human case studies, and product launch.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Responsible for system level performance and reliability testing including writing test protocols, executing tests, and writing system verification reports
• Develop and validate test methods and fixtures (HW, SW) to support R&D and formal system verification and validation testing activities
• Transfer appropriate test capabilities to manufacturing
• Integrate and evaluate features and capabilities through the design and verification cycle, including identification and resolution of defects
• Participate in requirements definition, risk management activities
• Participate in preclinical studies to evaluate system performance
• Maintain design control in compliance with QMS by authoring specifications, protocols, & reports inclusive of documentation required for 510k regulatory approvals

Design or implementation flaws could compromise safety, performance, or reliability of the product.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical field. Advanced degrees preferred
• Proficient using Solidworks for test development
• Proficient using python and MATLAB for controlling system functions and data analysis
• Experience with 3D printing techniques for rapid prototyping
• Experience with medical devices a plus
• Experience with piezoelectric devices a plus
