Job Title: Systems Engineer II

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Level 2 Systems Engineer with expertise in Azure, Microsoft 365, and network infrastructure to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview: As a Level 2 Systems Engineer at Info Advantage, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support and solutions to our clients, focusing on Azure, Microsoft 365, and server-based environments. You will work closely with our Level 1 support team to resolve complex issues, implement system enhancements, and ensure the overall stability and performance of our clients' IT systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, hands-on experience with network infrastructure and firewalls, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience working with or for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced technical support for Azure, Microsoft 365, and server-based environments, including troubleshooting, configuration, and administration.
• Assist in the design, implementation, and management of cloud solutions, network infrastructure, and server environments for mid to large-sized businesses.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their IT needs and provide tailored solutions and recommendations.
• Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain optimal system functionality.
• Work with the Level 1 support team to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
• Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and upgrades as needed.
• Document technical processes, procedures, and configurations for internal knowledge base.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Azure, Microsoft 365, network infrastructure, and server technologies.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls and network security solutions is highly desirable.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, and server-based environments.
• Hands-on experience with network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and routers, in mid to large-sized business environments.
• Experience working with or for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as AZ-104 (Microsoft Azure Administrator), AZ-305 (Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert), SC-300 (Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals), or network certifications (e.g. Fortinet NSE) are highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cloud services, virtualization, enterprise IT infrastructure, and network security.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Experience with ITIL processes and best practices is a plus.
