Position Title: Sr Technical Systems Analyst - Data - MDM (EventHub, Realtime Enterprise Data Integration)

About the Role:

Join our team as a Technical Analyst to help build a cutting-edge master data management system (MDM) for store data. You'll work with real-time APIs and event streams, ensuring high-quality, governed data for enterprise and customer-facing systems. Responsibilities include gathering technical requirements, collaborating with product and engineering teams, and validating data transformations. Ideal candidates have experience with system integrations, real-time APIs, JSON, XML, and event-driven architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Delivery

§ Identify and assess opportunities for productivity, efficiency, and cost improvements.

§ Gather, analyze, and document business requirements to design effective technology and process solutions.

§ Translate business needs into functional designs, ensuring technical solutions align with requirements.

§ Lead solution testing, including test planning, execution, and validation of results.

§ Manage system configuration, vendor coordination, documentation, training, and knowledge transfer.

Production Support

§ Analyze and troubleshoot complex system issues, identifying root causes and driving resolution.

§ Coordinate issue resolution across support teams, vendors, and end-users while ensuring clear communication.

§ Assess issue trends to identify improvement opportunities and provide global technology support.

Coordination/Leadership

§ Facilitate negotiations, decision-making, and collaboration across all team levels.

§ Mentor and support less-experienced analysts while driving team development and process improvements.

§ Align system solutions with broader organizational strategies and objectives.

Key Technical Skills

§ Experience with system integrations and understanding of real time APIs and Event Hubs

§ Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria/ test cases to validate API accuracy

§ Understanding of JSON and XML required

§ Strong ability to dig through data and databases required

§ Experience with agile methodology and JIRA for issue tracking and work intake required, ownership of product/backlog management a plus

§ Enjoys researching and learning to solve complex problems and paths through ambiguity

Required Background/ skills:

§ Apply multidisciplinary principles to cross-functional projects, ensuring successful outcomes throughout the full system development lifecycle.

§ Identify, design, and deploy scalable, reliable technology solutions that meet business needs, supported by clear functional design specifications.

§ Leverage strong analytical skills, SQL knowledge, and ad hoc query tools to troubleshoot system issues and validate solutions through effective testing.

§ Influence, coordinate, and drive consensus across diverse stakeholders while delivering persuasive communication and end-user training.

§ Adapt quickly to new systems, navigate ambiguity, and prioritize tasks independently to drive results.

§ Relevant functional and technical process experience

§ Production support, system maintenance, upgrades, and enhancement delivery experience,
