    Job Description

    The Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) will work closely with Product Line Managers and Engineering to shape the definition of KIOXIA’s next-generation Solid State Drives (SSDs) for a variety of target markets, including client, data center, and enterprise server and storage markets. The TME will promote the technology and benefits of KIOXIA SSDs to drive customer awareness and adoption of KIOXIA’s SSD products. The TME will provide world-class technical marketing support to KIOXIA customers, ecosystem partners, and internal cross-functional teams.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Define next-generation product requirements for KIOXIA’s SSDs by distilling customer and industry standard specifications, leading technical discussions with customers, performing competitive analysis, conducting market research, and studying emerging technologies which could affect future requirements
    • Create and present compelling marketing collateral which showcases the technology and benefits of KIOXIA SSDs
    • Provide exceptional marketing and technical support to both external customers and internal cross-functional teams such as product marketing, product planning, product development, customer support, and sales
    • Lead technical responses to customer requests, including customer RFIs and RFQs and specification gap analyses
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable scientific field
    • 5+ years of professional experience in Engineering or Product Marketing in the computing, storage, or semiconductor industry
    • Technical expertise with SSDs and storage-related technologies, including PCIe, NVMe, and NAND Flash memory
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including presentation and public speaking capabilities
    • Ability to work well autonomously within diverse, multi-cultural teams
    • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment

    The expected salary for this position is $113,766.00 - 189,611.00.
