Sr. Treasury Analyst
Summary:
The Sr. Treasury Analyst is responsible for understanding advanced treasury functions, markets, and the tools used to manage various risks. This role involves leading interactions with both internal and external partners (auditors, examiners, Federal Reserve, FHLB, correspondent banks, etc.) and coordinating departmental responses. The position also supports senior members of the Treasury team and trains junior analysts as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand and comply with all applicable laws and regulations relevant to the position.
Assist with investment purchases and sales, including settlement, accounting, and reporting.
Maintain treasury systems of record.
Track and forecast liquidity and cash positions in real-time.
Prepare materials for external distribution and committee presentations (ALCO, CWG, etc.).
Gather economic data from market sources such as Bloomberg, competitors' rates, financial news, and other online resources.
Collaborate with the Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) and recommend borrowing strategies.
Work with CD brokers and lenders to implement wholesale funding programs.
Monitor financial market trends and assess potential risks and opportunities.
Assist with executing fund transfers and managing banking relationships.
Collaborate with internal teams like finance, accounting, and risk management to support overall financial goals.
Assist in the development and implementation of treasury policies and procedures.
Stay informed on industry best practices and regulatory changes related to treasury operations.
Research and design processes and analytics to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required.
A minimum of 10 years of related experience is preferred.
Skills:

Ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data.
Proficiency in financial forecast modeling.
