St. Hugh Catholic School in Miami (Coconut Grove), Florida has an opening for a qualified  5TH GRADE TEACHER for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for 4th Grade. This Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA Degree in Education.
• FDOE Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education, temporary or professional required; considered with a statement of eligibility.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Excellent presentation skills with use of instructional technologies.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, PowerPoint a plus.
• Good spelling and grammar required.
• Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Must have knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
• Must have a professional demeanor.

Schedule: Monday – Friday: 07:20 a.m. – 03:20 p.m. Qualifications: BS / BA Degree in Education oe Bachelors degree in an area with application towards State of Florida certification. Florida department of Education SOE or temporary/permamnet or in the process of certification. Experience in teaching elementary students in kindergarten, 4th, 5th grade is preferred but not required. New teachers welcomed Excellent classroom management. Must engage in departmental and inter-departmental curriculum planning, implementation, and evaluation. Must be available for consultation prior to and after the school day at the request of Pastor/Principal. Must be supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred. Excellent presentation skills with skill in use of innovative instructional technologies. Excellent classroom management skills. Must have knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
