One of our clients, located in Wellington, FL is looking to add a Staff Accountant to their growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare general ledger entries.
- Code invoices, setup new accounts and reconcile accounts.
- Assist with month-end close.
- Reconcile bank accounts, verify deposits, and address inquiries from banks.
- Reconcile cash disbursement accounts and customer accounts.
- Manages accounts receivable collections.
- Verifies/complete payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
- Manages the purchasing and invoicing system
- Provides outside auditors with assistance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required.
- 3+ years of accounting experience required.
- Some tax experience required.
- Must possess strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
