  • Responsibilities

    One of our clients, located in Wellington, FL is looking to add a Staff Accountant to their growing team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare general ledger entries.
    • Code invoices, setup new accounts and reconcile accounts.
    • Assist with month-end close.
    • Reconcile bank accounts, verify deposits, and address inquiries from banks.
    • Reconcile cash disbursement accounts and customer accounts.
    • Manages accounts receivable collections.
    • Verifies/complete payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
    • Manages the purchasing and invoicing system
    • Provides outside auditors with assistance.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required.
    • 3+ years of accounting experience required.
    • Some tax experience required.
    • Must possess strong Microsoft Excel skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail.
