Based in our Muskegon, Grand Haven, or Grand Rapids offices, an entry-level Accountant at Brickley DeLong is primarily responsible for both audit and tax duties throughout the year. This includes:
Preparation of individual and personal property tax returns
Assisting on audits as part of an engagement team
Performing preliminary audit work and preparing work papers in assistance with the year-end audit
Assisting on other attest engagements such as compilations and reviews
The ideal Accountant for our team will possess integrity and a great attitude. They will have completed their Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent), and they will be making plans to sit for their CPA exam. This person will be a phenomenal team player with a drive to grow, and help their peers grow, into a respected and skilled accounting professional. Our ideal Accountant will be an effective communicator and exhibit dedication to providing quality service to our clients.
